Shipping Fees

We will gladly deliver your product within our service area.  If you are not sure if you fall in this area, call our sales office at 615-325-6646 to find out.  Minimums do apply and a variable surcharge is accessed for this service.

The Delivery Truck

You'll know our truck as it has our name/logo on the side.  We deliver your plants in a extended box truck so there is no need to accommodate a semi.  Our driver will get your carts to the ground in a timely fashion & we ask that you have assistance waiting to unload the carts.   For the safety of everyone, please advise your employees to never help the driver with the lift.  This could cause serious or fatal injury.

Plant packaging

In our efforts to better serve all of our customers, we try to maximize the space used for every truck that leaves our location.  This can best be accomplished by the table below.

Our truck holds approximately 20 carts of product.  A cart can hold the following...

  •   30 Blooming Baskets = 1 Cart
  •   35 Flats= 1 Cart
  •   30 3 Gallon Containers = 1 Cart
  •   20 Ferns = 1 Cart
  •   100 6" Pots = 1 Cart

Each cart holds between 2 and 5 shelves based on the product ordered (as shown above).

  •   10 Baskets  = 1 Shelf
  •   7 Flats = 1 Shelf
  •   10 3 Gallon Pots = 1 Shelf
  •   24 6" Pots = 1 Shelf

Shipping Bags

Baskets are typically bagged in plastic to minimize shipping damage.  The exception to this is if the shipping supervisor decides that the bag will do more damage to the plant in question then shipping it without the bag.   All bags should be removed from the plants promptly upon arrival.

Properly removing the packaging:

Fern Baskets-  Just slip the bag off the bottom of the basket and (if you like) save it in order to re-use for your customers as trunkliners or re-bagging plants.

Blooming Baskets-  Blooming baskets are normally more fragile so we recommend that you take scissors and cut the plastic from the bottom up to minimize damage to the plant when removing the packaging.  It is normal to see some bloom loss due to shipping.  This is most apparent when the bag is being removed.

Delivery Times

We deliver Monday through Saturday throughout the year.  When we receive your order we can typically give you a 3 hour window of delivery.  This is our best estimate. Too often factors beyond our control delay shipping.  If it is necessary that your have your order on a certain day, we highly recommend that you schedule your delivery for the day before.  Unfortunately we cannot guarantee delivery times.

  • 6:00-9:00
  • 9:00-Noon
  • Noon-3:00
  • 3:00-6:00

Special Note:  We have to have your order to calculate your delivery time.  This is necessary to know how many carts your order will need.
